What an awful déjà vu25-11-2015

If in Hollywood somebody would make a sequel to a succesful thriller with the same ending as in the first movie, it would not be a great movie, so today’s game was almost the same for Kalev/Cramo. In their fifth FIBA Europe Cup game Kalev hosted Sofia Lukoil Academic in Saku Suurhall, who they lost to a buzzer beater in Sofia. The game followed the same script as in Sofia, the game ended with Kalev’s fifth loss in the group stage 75:78 (43:39). With this win Lukoil have a great chance to advance to TOP32.

Pavlin Ivanov from Lukoil was the leading scorer with 23 points and also made the game winning three. Zeljko Sakic added 14 and Filip Barovic 13 points. For BC Kalev/Cramo Gregor Arbet and Sten Sokk had 13 points, Boone added 12 and Brandis Raley-Ross 11 points. Martin Dorbek managed to dish out 8 assists.

Kalev won the rebounding battle 39:32, scored 11 threes against the opponents 8 but managed to turn the ball over 19 times while still struggling with free-throws (10/17)
