We finally scored 100 points25-10-2015

Today was a historic day in Alexela basketball league – first time ever, two import players who were brothers faced each other. It was a great day for the fans because Kalev/Cramo got their 7th win from 7 games while also scoring 100 points in a long time, to be exact the last time was also against TTÜ when they won 101:52 six months ago.

Today, the game was much more contested which is not a miracle, because leading TTÜ this season is former Kalev/Cramo assistant coach Rait Käbin and one of the main players for the student team is long-time Kalev/Cramo player Kristjan Kitsing. It was a fun and high-scoring game, which Kalev/Cramo won 100:84. There were a lot of highlight plays from both Corey and Brandis Raley-Ross. Brandis also led the scoring for Kalev/Cramo, while Boone secured another double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds, Killingsworth had 14 points and 8 boards, Freimanis added 13, Keedus 12 and Veideman 11 points.

Corey Raley-Ross finished his debut for TTÜ with 22 points and 6 rebounds, Kristjan Kitsing had a great double-double with 20 points and 11 boards, while Akenpärg had 16 and Rait-Riivo Laane 14 points and 6 assists.

Head coach Alar Varrak commented after the game, that he is satisfied with the offence, but they need to work hard to better their defense. Unfortunately they haven’t got a lot of time to train due to the tight playing schedule. Kalev/Cramo still sits on top of the league tabel, undefeated.
