Unics in a class of their own14-03-2017


Euroleague team Kazan Unics had their last game in Tallinn before facing FC Barcelona in Euroleagu. And the game showed their readiness, they dominated from the start and took an easy 110:86 (64:38) win. After making 81% of their shots and scoring 37 points in the first quarter, the game was done. The visitors finished with making over 60% of their shots and a comfortable win despite Kalev/Cramo being better in offensive rebounding (9:7) and shooting well behind the arc (14/30).
Erik Keedus was the bright spot for BC Kalev/Cramo – he was on fire behind the arc making 7 out of his 10 shots and finished with 21 points which is his VTB record. Vitaly Liutych added 15 and Tollefsen 13 points. Arjom Klimenko ja Daniol Andjusic had 18 points for the visitors, Artjom Parahouski was on a roll and made all of his 7 shots and had 16 points. Joaquim Colom had a massive double-double with 15 points and 16 assists.
Euroleague sniper Keith Langford was “left” for the bench ( after the game Unics head coach admitted that he planned to give less minutes for Langford but due to the great game shown by his teammates he got a rest-day in the end.)
