Slump continues18-01-2016


BC Kalev/Cramo did not managed to end their slump in VTB today when they hosted BC Nymburk. The game came crashing down in the third quarter which they lost 23:37(!),  Nymburk was one point shy of a VTB record for points in one quarter.

A few minutes before the end of the game, Kalev was down by 38 points but in the end Kalev managed to climb back a little bit. Croatian Mario Delaš is been getting better game by game and had 17 points today, Freimanis and Veideman both added 12. Belgian national team player Maxime De Zeeuw had 16, 35 year old Czech legend Jiri Welsch had 14 and Michael Dixon 13 points for the visitors.

Kalev who is still playing without a center lost the rebounding game 29:46, and couldn’t make a shot from the three point line (5/30 against 8/20). Kalev now has 4 wins and 11 losses and is in the second to last place in VTB and will host Astana next week. Despite being in a rough slump, Kalev still has a chance to get to the play-offs but need to turn their season around quickly.

  1. Russia should bail out Russian dosrpitoes in Cyprus banks, as Britain has, and recover the money by increasing the price of gas sold to Germany. The price rise could be a short “one off” levy.
