BC Kalev/Cramo hosted Nižni Novgorod today in VTB league, who has basically insured a spot in the quarter-finals. Reminder, a year ago Kalev crushed this team with 34 points surprising everybody. Today was another day unfortunately, despite the loss the game was pleasantly tight. Kalev won the half 47:46 and led during the half-way point of the third quarter with 5 points. But in the second half of the quarter, Nižni made a 12:2 run and capped it of with another 7:0 run to start the fourth. Kalev managed to climb their way back to 6 points but in the end the visitors dictated the game and took the win 91:77.

Shawn King had a brilliant game with 28 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assits. Morris Curry added 10, Delaš, Freimanis and Keedus 9 points. Victor Rudd and Rasid Mahalbasic were on a roll for Nižni with 18 and 12 and 18 and 8, Semjon Antonov added 16 and Vladislav Ivlev 15 points. Kalev  now has 6 wins and 15 losses and are last but one in the league table.

Press-conference after the game.

  1. / on TwitterWoo, I’ll try that! The flexible, bendy time thing has applied doubly so the last few weeks of working rather strange hours on someone ele8&#s217;s stuff (and not so interesting stuff at that). But although very little put out there in the world, a LOT can happen in the background, all to burst out as one amazing thing when the time is right. Looking forward to yours… and mine!Meg x
