In a VTB United League game, BC Kalev/Cramo tried to challenge Krasnadori Lokomotiv-Kuban but in the end the russian powerhouse took their own with a 83 : 99 win. Rolands Freimanis had 20, Rain Veideman 19 and Armands Škele 15 points. Scott Machado scored 12 points, dished 7 assists but also had 9 turnovers.

For foreign players did the main scoring for Kuban – Derrick Brown had 24, Krunoslav Simon 17, Malcolm Delaney and Richad Henrix 14 points.

Kuban coach Sergei Bazarevich said after the game:” In the first half we had good rythm and took the lead but in the second we fell asleep and gave it away. In the end we were better and finished the game with a win.” Estonian team coach Alar Varrak:” We played good on offense but defensively we let them have too many second chance points. In the second half we had a chance but they turned on a second gear which we couldn’t answer. They have 6-7 guys who could play in any Euroleague team.”
