BC Kalev/Cramo who led most of the game against Peterburi Zenit were unable to hold on in the last quarter with the hosts winning  69 : 79. Latvian Rolands Freimanis was the top scorer for the estonian team with 22 points, Frank Elegar scored 15 and grabbed 16 rebounds. Armands Škele had a nice all-around game with 12 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists but also earned a technical foul in the final minutes. Scott Machado scored 12 and dished 7 assists. Walter Hodge of Zenit scored 19 points, most of them after Gregor Arbet got his fifth foul.

Coach Varrak was not in the best mood after the game: ” We played good most of the game but if the game finishes like it did today it will sting. We weren’t able to make good decisions due to the fatigue of our guards. We really miss Rain Veideman, Machado and Škele can’t create 40 minutes in a row on top of that Škele was ill for 5 days and played with a fever on wednesday. We had signs of trouble regarding our guard play against Bisons but we managed to take that game with raw strenght. But at the moment in the last games we have missed a guard who can attack hard and create options for himself and the team.”
