VTB and Euroleague powerhouse Lokomotive Kuban was hoping for an easy game against visiting BC Kalev/Cramo but got away with a scare. BC Kalev showed great game and spirit during three quarters and in the end but at the start of the fourth quarter the hosts managed to go on a 15:0 run which Kalev could not come back, so Lokomotiv won 71:67 (29:32) and got their 18th win of the season. Kalev got their 17th loss to go with their 7 wins. Interestingly it was the first time that Kalev managed to keep the game tight against the hosts, losing all of their previous games by doubl-digits.
