Three quarters of good and tight game took an unexpected turn in the fourth quarter when Astana made a run from which BC Kalev/Cramo couldn’t recover. Last quarter the Estonian club missed all 10 of their 3 points attempts and lost the quarter 8:27, the final score 72 : 93.

Jerry Johnson had 30 points for Astana while Rašid Mahalbasic supported him with 16 and Pat Calathes with 15 points. Rain Veideman had 18 and Gregor Arbet 17 points for Kalev.

Alar Varrak said after the game, that the biggest problem today was Jerry Johnson, he was unstoppable and we couldn’t contain him. He added: ” When one player scores 30 points with a high field goal percentage and adds 9 assists, its hard to win. We had 2 great opportunities on the third quarter to get the lead bigger but both of them ended with bad decisions which gave away the iniciative and that cost us.”
